Terms and Conditions of the Sale

This is a floor bid auction conducted by Numismatic Society Asia (NSA) and all sales prices are in Singapore dollars (SGD). Bidding in this auction constitutes acceptance by you of all the terms and conditions of sale stated herein.

A. Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Act 2019

1. Numismatic Society Asia is a regulated dealer, compliance with the regulatory requirements under the PSPM Act is mandatory.

2. Under MAS regulations, we are not allowed to engage in business dealings with individuals or entities from D.P.R. of Korea, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Russia, South Sudan, Sudan and Yemen. Should a winning bidder be from any of the above countries, the transaction shall be rescinded.

3. Proof of identification (NRIC/Passport) will be required upon collection of payment. Please refer to Ministry of Law “Notice for Customers”.

B. Buyer’s premium and other charges

1. Buyer’s premium is 16% (Members), 20% (Non-members) on the hammer price.

2. If delivery is required within or outside Singapore, please contact us to make the necessary arrangements and wait to receive our invoice before making payment. Fees pertaining to the agreed shipping arrangement will be added to the bill.

3. Self-collection is available only to buyers residing in Singapore.

4. A bank charge of SGD30 will be added to the invoice for payments made by overseas bank transfer.

C. Payment Terms

1. Payment must be made within 7 calendar days from the invoice date. The purchased lots will be released to the buyer upon full payment of the invoice.

2. Bidders who do not make full payment within the stipulated 7 days deadline will be blacklisted and be subjected to additional requirements to participate in future auctions.

3. Preferred modes of payment include cash, PayNow and bank transfer. Local bank cheques are accepted but release of purchased lots can only be made upon clearance.

4. Cash in SGD is accepted from local buyers however strictly restricted to a maximum of SGD20,000 per client.

D. Disclaimers & Warranties

1. NSA is not responsible for grades assigned by 3rd party grading companies (eg. ANACS, NGC, PCGS, GongBo, PMG, etc) and makes no warranty regarding such grades. Hence, sold lots of coins or banknotes graded by these 3rd party grading companies are not returnable for any reason whatsoever.

2. Group lots and lots marked as sold as it is, are SOLD AS IS and are not returnable by the buyer. A single lot with 2 or more items can be considered a group lot.

3. For ungraded coins or banknotes without buyer’s examination prior to auction, these lots may be returned and payment refunded, provided the lots in question are still in their original packaging and notice is given by the buyer no later than 7 calendar days from the date of receipt or collection.

4. All oral and written statements made by Numismatic Society (Asia) are statements of opinion only and are not warranties or representations of any kind. Strictly NO RETURN should the description differs with any individual or grading companies.

E. Law & Jurisdiction

The above terms and conditions of sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

SGD 501 – SGD 1,000 : SGD 50

SGD 1,001 – SGD 2,000 : SGD 100

SGD 2,001 – SGD 5,000 : SGD 200

SGD 5,001 – SGD 10,000 : SGD 500
